Credentials:  PT, MS

Julie is the Supervisor at Conway Regional Therapy Center – Salem. Her interest in physical therapy was sparked while in her high school anatomy class. She was a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor, so it’s quite logical that she continues her love for water by leading the aquatic therapy program. Julie received her master’s in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, which is perennially ranked in the top 1% of physical therapy schools in the nation. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Illinois College. Julie has 15 years of experience and her clinical interests include aquatic therapy, neurological condition and the geriatric population. The most common diagnoses she treats are: Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, fibromyalgia, balance deficits, and low back pain.

Julie spends half of her clinical time in the pool and the other half in the gym. She is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and Julie is certified in the LSVT BIG program, which is specifically designed for Parkinson’s patients. She is also certified in Neuro-IFRAH, a program specifically designed for adults who are physically impaired from a stroke or brain injury.

She is an avid runner and talented crafter who enjoys listening to live music, biking, hiking, and rock climbing. Her greatest joy comes from her daughter, Chloe.
